Blackened Horde: How did the band get started?

TomTom: I approached Tony to write lyrics on this project and its gone from there.

Blackened Horde: What kind of music do you play?

TomTom: I just call it music, lol.

Blackened Horde: How has the fan response been?

TomTom: It’s been very good, the support we’ve received in a very short time has been overwhelming.

Blackened Horde: Introduce band members and what they do in the band.

TomTom: Tony does vocals and some leads. TomTom compose arrange and record songs, they are then sent to tony for his parts.

Blackened Horde: Where did the band name come from?

TomTom: Its a concept I’ve had in my brain for some years now.

Blackened Horde: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

TomTom: I (TomTom) writes all music and Tony writes the lyrics.

Blackened Horde: Where do lyric ideas come from?

Tony: The ideas to the songs are taken “mostly” from life itself with all sickness, sadness, sorrow, madness, love, darkness, occult stuff, horror, self destructive thoughts and thinking included in it. Some songs are also influenced by the nature it self and mother earth. The ideas just pops up after hearing a song.

Blackened Horde: What is your views on satanism and occultism?

TomTom: I don’t follow any organized religion at all. We both think that way.

Blackened Horde: How many albums have you released?

TomTom: 3 so far.

Blackened Horde: Tell me about some of the songs on latest CD?

Tony: For example the track “A Place Where Only Pain Dwells” is about the ongoing destruction that mankind does with the planet we live on and all agony and sorrow that follows in footsteps of that and about all hate. The track “The Awakening” is about deep thoughts of life itself and a possible afterlife and that it is no need to be religious to believe that something comes after or so and it is about the endless hate and sadness that many of us feel about mankind and the whole world. Since the very first start have we more or less just spread hate, violence and sickness and it seems to never end. And if I say for myself I often think that the world would be a better place if we destroyed ourselves 🙂 All songs are very dark and deep in it’s topics and can be also very philosophically sometime.

Blackened Horde: Do you have any side projects?

TomTom: OfSilence&Sorrows, Blind Man Sees.

Tony: Wintercold, Dawn of Apocalypse, Demorian, Luciferian Blood & some more, also involved as a vocalist for the Chilean dsbm band Nostalgie Depression.

Blackened Horde: Who are some of your musical influences?

TomTom: Bluegrass,80’s goth-punk and of course metal!

Tony: Punk, goth & metal (all kinds) and also a lot of folk music/pagan music.

Blackened Horde: What is the band like when you play live. We haven’t as of yet..

Tony: As we are only two in the band is it too hard to make that as a reality now.

Blackened Horde: Have you guys ever played in another country?

TomTom: Not as of yet…

TomTom: None as of yet, lol.

Blackened Horde: Hows the crowd response when you play?

TomTom: None as of yet…lol.

Blackened Horde: What do you think of the us black metal-death metal scene?

TomTom: Some I like some I don’t. Tony agree there too, but one of the better & newer bands is Isenblåst, Blasphemous Overlord & Vixioness for example, of course more exists, but the older is best.

Blackened Horde: What do you think of the overseas scene?

TomTom: Its what I mostly listen to.

Blackened Horde: What are some of your new black metal bands?

TomTom: I prefer older stuff..

Tony: Agree there, but I like some new bands too, especially from Latin America & Asia then & even a few from the middle east area as it is a couple that really are very good.

Blackened Horde: When do you guys plan on writing more music?

TomTom: Always! Now!
