Blackened Horde: How did the band get started?

Agares: The actual formation get started in the year 2012, but the ”idea” of the band it comes from Agares, since the year 2008-2009.

 

 

Blackened Horde: What kind of music do you play?

Agares: We play Black Metal, some one says we play Black/Thrash, or Old School Black Metal.

 

 

Blackened Horde: How has the fan response been?

Agares: Has been very good here in Concepcion the people is great, great support to us, we appreciate that.

 

 

Blackened Horde: Where did the band name come from?

Agares: It came from the ancient history, its a term use to represent devastation, chaos, and apocalyptic destruction, we represent that, we want that!!.

 

 

Blackened Horde: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

Azathot: Drums

Blackened Horde: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

Agares: All music and lyrics are write by Agares.

 

 

Blackened Horde: And where do the lyric ideas come from?

Agares: Comes from the depths of the south of Chile, we wrote about most people are afraid: Desecration, blasphemy, total hate to Christianity.

 

 

Blackened Horde: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?

Agares: About Satanism we are very critical, our view its against all the stupid deities, satanism to us, is the same shit as Christianity. Respect Occultism, that is more deeper, we think in that as a science hidden, a very interesting topic that also seduce us, to write our music, absolutely.

 

 

Blackened Horde: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

Agares: We release a promotional demo, and one official demo.

 

 

Blackened Horde: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Agares: The songs in our last recorded material, are songs filled with anger, blasphemy, desecration and all the influence of black metal bands like Bathory, Mayhem, Celtic Frost, etc.

 

 

Blackened Horde: Do you have any side projects?

Agares: For the moment, no, none of us.

Blackened Horde: Who are some of your musical influences?

Agares: Our influences are basically, black metal and some thrash bands, and also some old school death metal bands.

 

 

Blackened Horde: Which current bands?

Agares: Celtic Frost, Mayhem, Bathory, Immortal, Darkthrone, Sodom, Destruction, Venom and also bands like Possessed and Pentagram(chile).

 

 

Blackened Horde: What is the band like when you play live?

Agares: It’s hard to answer that, but when we are in stage, we want to burn churches, provoke chaos and destruction, and devastate the whole place!!

Blackened Horde: Have you guys ever played in another country?

Agares: No, not yet.

 

 

Blackened Horde: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?

Agares: Small, usually about 30- 50 people, sometimes more I guess, but not always.

 

 

Blackened Horde: How is the crowd response when you play?

Agares: Very good, they understand our music, and response with total support, headbanging and stuffs like that.

Blackened Horde: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?

Agares: The US death metal scene has a very great name in the world, great bands. The black metal scene I’m not acquainted, I’m only know a few bands who play Black Metal, I like very much Judas Iscariot, toxic holocaust, and Inquisition.

 

 

Blackened Horde: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?

Agares: I think the question is about the scenes in other continents…Well there are very good bands in Europe, and Asia, a great scenes in all genres of metal.

 

 

Blackened Horde: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?

Agares: We are not acquainted of the ”new” death, and black metal bands, I don’t know how it’s ”new bands”, it’s 90’s bands? 2000’s bands… but I can tell you personally I like very much the project of Demonaz, ”march of the norse”, and the 3 of us like us very much the latest albums of Burzum, ”soul austan, mani vestan” and ” the ways of yore”, of course, these album are not metal, but it came from one of the mens who ”creates” the sound of black metal.

 

 

Blackened Horde: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?

Agares: In July or August we plan to re-record the promotional demo, and we constantly write new material, new songs.

 

 

Blackened Horde: What does the future hold for the band??

Agares: We spect to record an EP, and travel across our country and why not, Sudamerica for play and show our music.
