Summon: How did the band get started?
Odai: In fact, We have established the band on the ruins of Shamharoosh band in the 2013 after getting an error in one of the tracks, as we were at the time preparing to move into a new phase where we were changing our  band genre of metal mixed with black-east to the current pattern, which we are now, where the words were in a band Shamharoosh Arabic band like Narjahanam and Al Namrood band the tunes and east, we thought of Skin and change your style of the band writing lyrics in English, based on the historical eras blended ancient wars and grief and pain and moping in addition to the black owner of that period, as we relied on old stories in terms of intellectual beliefs only.”




Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Odai: Frankly, so far I can not say for sure what our  I can say  to we are playing, Atmospheric Black Metal, Doom, Ambient Metal.




Summon: How has the fan response been?
Odai: We haven’t played any live shows ever.




Summon: Where did the band name come from?
Odai: The name of band taken by the guitarist TAREQ he is chose it,  the name after that we are accepting the band name.




Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Odai: In fact Me (Odai) i am the band Vocalist, Lyrics Writer, Mixing Mastering, Artwork  designer, Band Manager, Tareq he is the Guitarist of band and Composer, Hussein  he is the band Bassist and helping Tareq in Composer, Fahad  in Iraq he is Drummer, Keyboardist and Music Composer.




Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Odai: The music writes by Tareq, Hussain and Fahad about the lyrics are writing by Odai.




Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Odai: I am  collect mostly the main idea of the song or album through watching the films of historic and ancient Qrota novels and through my research on ancient civilizations in the internet, but inspired by the ideas of reality with its integration of personal and creative imagination, I do usually arranged song ideas and linking them with something I do what I do and then formulate the words we usually I am working on it.




Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
Odai: We Don’t Have Any Intellectual View Orientation Or Abuse Directed  Satanism and Occultism, Against Islam & Other Religions, Or Even The Prophets, Messengers From God.




Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Odai: Yes we have one  EP album released  on December 14th, 2013 by Depressive Illusions Records Label, Album  title  Tears Of Regret.




Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Odai: For example, the nearly half and hour long “War in Sky” is like an even more degenerate  (circa Drawing Down the Moon) loaded with agonizing incoherent vocal bursts and slothy down tuned  doom riffs and the Vocals venomous growls that rise from the depths before clawing  through the murk and gloom   about 8 minutes in and am feeling a cacophony of second wave black metal, dark ambient, psychedelic…it’s pretty surreal and makes me think of what the Finnish avant-garde powerhouse of Circle  In fact, the more this colossal rumbling bomb plays on the more it morphs into a weird nightmare that fuses the fucked up drone doom of Flesh blended with Unholy and the whole thing becomes a bass saturated rattling speaker blower of bad trip LSD psychosis. It’s just so good and ugly, and whacked out that it’s, simply.




Summon: Do you have any side projects?
Odai: Yes we were had one before this band called Shamharoosh.




Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Odai: Protector, Lord Ahriman, Satyr, Shagrath, Galder, Erkekjetter Silenoz,Euronymous, Tony Eugene Tunheim, Oliver Nikolas Schmid, Johan Ericson.




Summon: Which current bands?
Odai: Summoning, Burzum, Satyricon, Darkthrone ,Mayhem,Nile, Profanum, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, My Dying Bride, Septic Flesh, Gardens of Gehenna, Graveworm, Dark Funeral , Modar, Saturnus, Lacrimas Profundere, Edge Of Sanity, DoomVS, Enslavement Of Beauty.




Summon: What is the band like when you play live?
Odai: Summoning,Satyricon, Darkthrone, Mayhem,Nile, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir, Graveworm.




Summon: Have you guys ever played in another country?
Odai: No we haven’t played yet.




Summon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?
Odai: We haven’t played any live shows ever.




Summon: How is the crowd response when you play?
Odai: I told you in previous question we haven’t played live ever.




Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?
Odai: USA had a good black metal / death metal bands like Abject Offering, Amongst the Fallen, Breviarium, Eternal Tyranny, Graveborn etc…




Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?
Odai: There are a lot if European black metal bands are very good like Mayhem, Dimmu Borgir, Dark Funeral, Burzum, Summoning, Behemoth and a lot and a huge number of great Death metal bands like Kalmah, Vader, Eternal, Tears of Sorrow and a lot.




Summon: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?
Odai: Behemoth, Hate, Goatwhore, Autopsy, Taedeat, Wald, Catalyst of Damnation, etc…




Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
Odai: We planning that after releasing our EP Tears of Regret.




Summon: What does the future hold for the band??
Odai: I think there’s live show soon and full album in 2014.
