Blackened Horde: How did the band get started?
Dmitry “Enoth”: The band was reformed in late 2010. After several shows we decided to record our EP “Horrors From Depth”. Also we made the video for the song “Streets Of Rage”.
Blackened Horde: What kind of music do you play?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We play Death Metal with many influences.
Blackened Horde: How has the fan response been?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We receive a big fan response. We’re proud of it and we thank them!
Blackened Horde: Where did the band name come from?
Dmitry “Enoth”: The band name was inspired by poems of Erich Remarque. It’s all about a feelings. I suppose if you’ve read his poems you know what it is.
Blackened Horde: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Dmitry “Enoth” – guitars and vocals
Alexander “Imidazo” – drums
Alexey “German” – bass
Blackened Horde: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Dmitry “Enoth”: All music we write together. Usually I have an idea that I show to guys and we start jamming. Lyrics write our friend Alexander “Shaitan”.
Blackened Horde: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We discuss our songs, what we feel when we play or listen to it. Then we’re trying to describe it and generate ideas.
Blackened Horde: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We have no views.
Blackened Horde: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We released 2 CD’s “Horrors From Depth” and “A Social Berserker”.
Blackened Horde: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Dmitry “Enoth”: Ok… I like to sing the song “Release The Lions”. This song is full of tragedy, blood and inspiration. Sometimes when we play it live I imagine that I’m reading poetry in a theatre.
Blackened Horde: Do you have any side projects?
Dmitry “Enoth”: Yes, I do play black metal also \m/
Blackened Horde: Who are some of your musical influences?
Dmitry “Enoth”: These are Pink Floyd, Ozzy, Rainbow, DIO, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, RHCP, Vader and etc.
Blackened Horde: Which current bands?
Dmitry “Enoth”: I find it difficult to say which current bands has influences for me.
Blackened Horde: What is the band like when you play live?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We like many things when we play live. Most important of them are a satisfaction and energy that have exchange between us and our listeners. It’s an incredible feeling! But after a show you feel like shit but still satisfied.
Blackened Horde: Have you guys ever played in another country?
Dmitry “Enoth”: Yes, we have played in Poland, Slovakia, Ukraine and Belarus yet.
Blackened Horde: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We’re fameless band therefore to our shows come around 100 people. But we’re growing everyday.
Blackened Horde: How is the crowd response when you play?
Dmitry “Enoth”: It’s awesome every time. Just have a look to our live videos.
Blackened Horde: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?
Dmitry “Enoth”: I grew up on some bands of the US scene. It was great. It’s great. It’ll be great!
Blackened Horde: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?
Dmitry “Enoth”: I live in Russia and for me the US scene is Overseas. I just say everywhere in the world there are a lot of fucking awesome bands.
Blackened Horde: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?
Dmitry “Enoth”: I don’t listen to a lot of black metal but my favorite is Deathspell Omega. So what about new favorite death metal bands… I don’t remember that I have new fave in death metal.
Blackened Horde: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
Dmitry “Enoth”: We have already started to write new songs.
Blackened Horde: What does the future hold for the band??
Dmitry “Enoth”: In the nearest future you will see a new lyric video made by our Russian fan and friend. I think some countries we’ll be able to come to our shows at the end of this year. We have many plans to realize and we’ll be doing it.
