Sinister Superstar was formed in January 2012 by Vernon Eksteen (Who will also be doing the interview).The band quickly began working on an EP which was an experimental metal EP called “Sin Crawling In Her Skin” which gained limited attention. The band changed direction after the departure of Daniel Ashcroft (Guitar/Bass)and started making black/extreme metal with Eksteen as the only permanent member joined by sessionists. The second EP was then released as “Tentamen Suicidii” in March 2014 and re released in June by Kill The Light Productions. A song from this EP “Black Rose Of Zhane” was featured on the South African Metal Compilation Volume 1.
