SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA BIO -JANUARY 2012
SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA is a Traditional Satanic Black Metal entity from Melbourne, Australia. Their propagation of extremist and challenging elitist philosophies, thoughts and ideologies has lead to SM being banned from performing live in numerous venues Australia wide, which in turn has earned them the title ‘Australia’s most notorious Black Metal band’.
The barbaric trinity SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA advocates the absolute annihilation of the weak to attain the greater might of the Strong, regarding the systematic genocide of sub/humanity as the highest achievement of wo/mankind thus far. This utterly amoral sentiment manifests during SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA’s intense Live Blood Rituals and throughout their strange discordant recordings of chaotic and warlike Black Metal .
2007 saw the limited release of the SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA’s cult demonstration ‘Of Death and Genocide’ (featuring Chris Volcano -Abominator, ex-Urgrund, ex-Denouncement Pyre, Ingivomous- on session drums), which quickly gained the attention of the Swedish label, Satanic Propaganda Records, and garnered a world wide re-release as ‘Existence Precedes Extinction’ in 2008.
During this period SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA commenced their fearsome -and oft times violent- Live Blood Rituals, touring extensively across Australia in support of ‘Existence Precedes Extinction’ throughout 2008 and 2009, despite being banned from the most liberal metal venue in Melbourne (now defunct) after only their first Live Blood Ritual. In 2009 Astrum Argentum (UK) in accord with Negra Nit (Spain) also included SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA’s ‘Human Sacrifice by Fire’ on the coveted ‘Tlat De Pur Anuta’ compilation alongside Ofermod, Necros Christos, Blaze of Perdition, Erebus Enthroned, and Oracle of the Void.
In 2010 SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA released their ominous ‘Diabolic Gnosis’ EP through the ultra underground Australian label Sinister Essence Records. Some of these tracks were played on Australian national radio -despite the controversies surrounding the sanguinary horde. Impressed with these recordings, the Portuguese label Lost Wisdom Recordings offered to release them, along with some other unreleased studio and live material, on tape format as the extremely limited ‘Et Lux Perpetua Luceat Eis’ EP in 2011. 2010 saw SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA get banned from promoting their extreme anti-human ideologies in more venues, including the infamous incident after their first international live shows, whence a Nazxul performance ‘Black Mass’ was canceled in Sydney due to SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA’s reputation.
Towards the latter half of 2011 SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA started recording their long over due debut album LOATHE OVER WILL, due to be released sometime in 2012.
SANGUINARY MISANTHROPIA have had the honor of performing alongside bands such as DIOCLETIAN, URGRUND, IGNIVOMOUS, DESTRUKTOR, EREBUS ENTHRONED, ORDER OF ORIAS, CORVUS, ADAMUS EXUL, KILL THE KRISTIANS, NUCLEAR WINTER, BELLIGERANT INTENT, BLOOD OF THE MOON, ALTARS OF SIN, NAETU, LUSTRATION, VILIFIER, and DEMONREICH.
