October Tide
“Tunnel of No Light”
2013
October Tide, Tunnel of no light. What a band, what an album, Doom metal, with some brutal vocals really really enjoyed the vocals!! Guitars great (did with for it to be a bit heavier in some parts, really felt there were parts where they needed to really chug chug chug). Drumming amazing and the bass was great too. The only problem I had with it, was I found a few of the songs sounding the same and felt some of the songs where not doing the vocals justice, needed to be a bit heaver in parts. All that aside I really enjoyed the album most of the time it just all came together like butter on bread. Might just be my personal preference, but as I said I was asking myself a few times when was the heavy guitars going to come in. Oh here it comes, and nothing. This was however only on a few songs the rest were perfect, and don’t get me wrong the songs that were heavy were perfect. Just a few I felt was leading to something out of this world then they went a bit soft.
That being said I enjoyed them that much I had to find a few faults. I give these guys a 9 out of 10. If you like your Doom Metal you need to check these guys out! \m/ \m/
