Summon: How did the band get started?

Azargoth: The madness started in 2008 in Västerås, Sweden. Four members with dark intentions.

Summon: What kind of music do you play?

Azargoth: Black Metal.

Summon: How has the fan response been?

Azargoth: So far so good. We are grateful for all the appreciation our work gets.

Summon: Where did the band name come from?

Azargoth: From the Latin word neglectum, which in English means neglected.

Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

Azargoth: The bands current line-up is Azargoth (guitar and vocals) and Isedor (bass and drums).

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

Azargoth: We both do. Lyrics are done by Azargoth.

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?

Azargoth: Mostly from religious contempt.

Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?

Azargoth: Satanism is essential for Black Metal. Occultism is not.

Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

Azargoth: So far one demo (in 2009) and our debut album.

Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Azargoth: It’s a concept album. It’s about a blasphemer being murdered and the aftermath of his death.

Summon: Do you have any side projects?

Azargoth: No.

Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?

Azargoth: Many. Everything with genuine darkness behind it intrigues our mind and souls.

Summon: Which current bands?

Azargoth: Same as above.

Summon: What is the band like when you play live?

Azargoth: Pure darkness.

Summon: Have you guys ever played in another country?

Azargoth: No. We haven’t had the pleasure of spreading our filth abroad yet.

Summon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?

Azargoth: As many minds we can afflict our plague with.

Summon: How is the crowd response when you play?

Azargoth: Pure darkness worship.

Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?

Azargoth: Same as question #12.

Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?

Azargoth: Same as above.

Summon: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?

Azargoth: Too many to mention.

Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?

Azargoth: Currently writing more blasphemy.

Summon: What does the future hold for the band??

Azargoth: Hopefully more art from the depths of the abyss.
