Summon: How did the band get started?

Baphometh: Necrolepsy was formed by our guitarist Asmodeus and I (Baphometh) joined in later.

Summon: What kind of music do you play?

Baphometh: Our band is a brutal death metal grindcore band but we also have an essence of thrash metal in it. Our lyrics are mainly based on brutality, torture, sadism etc.

Summon: How has the fan response been?

Baphometh: Well we live in a city where the metal scene is in its infant stages so only a little number of people actually know that Necrolepsy exists.

Summon: Where did the band name come from?

Baphometh: The name was given by my blood brother Asmodeus. It was basically the result of listening to too much of Necrophagist haha.

Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

Baphometh: Asmodeus does the guitars and drum programming as and I handle the vocal.

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

Baphometh: Well we both do and decide which one is actually worth creating a song with.

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?

Baphometh: From old school horror movies and the serial killings and brutality we see in the society. Reality is more horrifying than nightmares.

Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?

Baphometh: To me, satanism is a gimmick but occultism is something that I’ll always support.

Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

Baphometh: We have released our debut EP Exhibition of Mutilated Apparatus last month and we also have a single Melted Human Cadaver releasing in a compilation of Jarred Cacophony Records.

Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Baphometh: There are 5 songs on the EP. The first one is Rape The Queen, Break the Throne and the last one is an instrumental. The other three defines extreme brutality.

Summon: Do you have any side projects?

Baphometh: I handle the vocals on two other bands Nordic Shadows (Death Metal) and Najayez (Black Metal).

Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?

Baphometh: As a kid I was always influenced by Rob Halford and Corpsegrinder.
