Only keyboards with some effects or acoustic strings, dark, dark themes, indefinite nature, so began the MORTUO project in mid 2004. Initially this project was called EVILUSIONS, where only a few demos were recorded independently, without much publicity, taking a break the following year, in 2005.
At the end of 2013 the project came as MORTUO. With the use of old riffs and lyrics, adapted to many influences of Black and Heavy Metal, Vox started recording the 1st official CD “OLD MEMORIES OF THE PAST” with much more weight and aggressive vocals. A preview of the ROAD OF EVIL song was recorded and released on the virtual collection “FACES OF HATE 5” in early 2014 by Tornhate Records.
“OLD MEMORIES OF THE PAST” was launched in May 2015 with the support of various seals underground scene and opened the doors for the band, which despite being a “one man band” has gained great respect in the Brazilian extreme metal scene.
