Mesopotamia was started up by Oriasipes and Braadland 2011.
We was in contact in early 2011 and decided to start up Mesopotamia . When we felt that we had enough material to start working with, we met up and had rehearsals.
After a few months Grothskall joined the band and later Skarstein also joined us.
We basically write about Mesopotamian, Sumerian and mythology from the ancient time of human civilisations.
