Lacination was formed in late February 2001 by founders of the band Joe Frank De Leon and David Arredondo. We wanted to compose a band that was heavy oriented. Lacination is a band that strives to differ ourselves from most other bands in the same genre. Among numerous line-up changes within the first year of its creation, Art Terrezas decided Lacination was the band for him. With heavy guitars, grinding drums, and guttural vocals, we are determined to setting ourselves apart from the other bands within the death metal community. The view of the band has remained constant over time incorporating different styles of music. Lacination has had the opportunity to share the stage with national bands: Cannibal Corpse, Dying Fetus, Monstrosity, Deeds of flesh, Suffocation, Cattle Decapitation,Decrepit Birth… and are still going strong… Many of the original members are still in our line-up..
