Blackened Horde: How did the band get started? How did you meet and how long have you been together?
Jason: Well, the band got started mainly out of boredom. I always wanted to do a music project but something seemed to stop me. So me and some friend decided to start up a comical noise punk band. The direction changed after we a little more serious and booted out vocalist. We were all friends so it was a pretty natural thing now we all got together. We’ve been together since August 95′. (Seems like fuckin’ forever.)

Blackened Horde: How would you describe your music?
Jason: I hate to label or classify things but I have always called it “Death/Punk/Doom Metal” we experiment on songs, so we don’t call it just metal. It keeps everything fresh.

Blackened Horde: What are your biggest musical influences?
Jason: We dig tons of band but to name some of our bigger influences: King Diamond/Mercyful Fate, Warrant, Grave, Hypocrisy, Entombed, Carcass, Cannibal Corpse, Dismember, Amorphis, Seance, Samael, Malevolent Creation, Kings X, Saigon Kick, My Dying Bride, Slayer, Napalm Death, Deicide, Led Zeppelin, Venom etc…

Blackened Horde: Who if, if any do you consider the bands idols?
Jason: We love a lot of musician but have our own person favorites. I cant speak for the other guys in the band but Jani Lane- Vocalist/Guitarist from Warrant would be mine. The bass plater digs Ozzy Osbourne and the drummer worships Morbid Angel’s Pete Sandoval.

Blackened Horde: What made you want to be in the band? And if you weren’t in the band what would you want to be doing now?
Jason: Just something to do for fun and to make some noise. I want to piss off the neighbors. If I weren’t in a band, I would still be doing underground stuff. Like running a Distro (which I do), doing a Zine or something along those lines. It would be my way of helping out the underground.

Blackened Horde: What are some of your favorite bands that are really popular today?
Jason: Some favorite that are really popular for me is far and few but I like Metallica, Alice In Chains, Nirvana, Marilyn Manson, Type O Negative etc…

Blackened Horde: How many demos/albums do you have? Tell me about them.
Jason: Not really sure exactly how many quite a few. Lots of demos/CD 99% is Death Metal. I’m not too into Black Metal it’s become too trendy. But I do have some variety, mainly on cassette.

Blackened Horde: If you could play with any band who would it be and why?
Jason: Warrant, because I really like their song writing and I grew up on their music.

Blackened Horde: Who writes the majority of the music?
Jason: I do, in fact I write all of it.

Blackened Horde: Who has been the favorite band you’ve played with? Why?
Jason: None of them, they all sucked.

Blackened Horde: Where did you get the band name from?
Jason: I made it up at 5:00 in the morning with a 2 liter in hand.

Blackened Horde: Describe what the band is like live?
Jason: Fuckin’ crazy, we’re really more on theatrics than music. Every show is different, which makes everything unexpected and fun. Which is what it’s all about.

Blackened Horde: If you are gonna do any kind of video what would be in it?
Jason: Sex, gore, drugs and rock n’ roll. But we cant forget murder scene and trial footage of the Manson case.

Blackened Horde: Are there any tour plans made, if so tell me about them?
Jason: No, we’re stuck playing in this shithole.

Blackened Horde: Where do you think the band will be in 20 years from now?
Jason: Broken up and retarded, try to buy success, but only farted. Anyways, everyone write to us and look into our release “Vertigo” $5 PPD.
