Summon: How did the band get started?
Virghon: The band began in the summer of 2006 in the city of Maceio, northeastern Brazil in the corridors of Federal Philosophy course in the state of Alagoas.
Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Virghon: Black Death metal old school; others say we play old school Death trash. Particularly like to say we played Black Death Metal Traditional. But, I confess, the new album will be something totally different from what we see you doing so far.
Summon: How has the fan response been?
Virghon: The new album has been highly acclaimed, we are being recognized in the four corners of the world. Unfortunately our record company and distributor of Peruvian origin (Latin America) today, and look what will be a year of official announcement by the physical release of our CD label did not give us a physical CD in original format as agreed until the moment answer this interview. The new scenario for the internet helps to internationalize our work. This is the only tool we have in the moment.
Summon: Where did the band name come from? Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Virghon: The band’s name comes from philosophical origin, we were all students (including myself still am) of Philosophy. So Introspection was a way to defragment the next life with the name of famous philosophers like Socrates sentences: “I only know that I know nothing.” OR Descartes: “If I think therefore I am”. Anyway, that was the intention of the title of the band. The current lineup consists of Virghon – Bass / Vocals; Dy Dyo Barros Borges – Drums and guitars……….
Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Virghon: Me, Virghon. On the new album we did a merge of riffs between me and the guitarist Dyo Barros. But generally, I am.
Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Virghon: Honestly, on our first demo we endeared suicide, pessimism, nihilism. Today we make a double critique of Christianity which firstly attacks the ethical side, moral, and other evaluative criticizes capitalism, and the search for political, economic or ideological power. What I believe is the foundation of religion.
Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
Virghon: I think Satanism is a big contradiction. I have not much to say about it, see it as something contradictory, just that. Moreover Occultism has several meanings, several sheds, a huge range of variations. Speaking for myself, I prefer a good philosophy that drives us to not only understand, but to change the world. I would like to say a few more things: Satanism, Christianity, Fascism, Nazism, racism, xenophobia, and currently more evidence in the media Israeli Zionism are all pitiful and miseráreis ideologies, fruits of a decaying world and corrupted by capitalist ideology society model, alienating and mediocre as is the current world.
Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Virghon: We have three CD’s demoindepenente and is co albumque launch delayed pela General manager in the company GATE OF HORROR PRODS. From Peru, Latino American.
Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Virghon: I think between eight songs five special songs. Human Emancipation; Domination of Death; Lords of fate; Eternal Return and Form fetishized. Speak that are special in the sense of composition, listening, feel the music and you’ll know what I’m talking about. The formation of this current album had no live presentation. Just did, lyrics had excellent support these session musicians. Support in music, technical terms. And this was the result. I am evaluating a good result. We have two shows in these next two months. The training will be the third demo. In our first presentation I made guitars and vocals, Paulo Oliveira and Pablo battery olive baixo. 9OS OLIVEIRA BROTHERS). This will be the formation of shows ahead in northeastern OF BRAZIL. I’m returning to southeastern Brazil, São Paulo, certainly will form the basis for another band with other musicians.
Summon: Do you have any side projects?
Virghon: So far not, just more ideas for the same project.
Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Virghon: In terms of individuals are three musicians Chuck Schuldiner from the band Death; Quorthon of Bathory and Dissection of John.
Summon: Which current bands?
Virghon: Difficult question (laughs) I prefer the old bands.
Summon: What is the band like when you play live?
Virghon: First is the seriousness with our music, perseverance, respect for everyone involved in the shows above all is on the one hand: it is the feeling that it is possible to deny this world and secondly sure atravéz the feeling that our music conveys to us even nessessidade and real possibility of created a new world.
Summon: Have you guys ever played in another country?
Virghon: Not, yet received a proposal to play in Colombia, but could not. Intend to play in as many countries as possible.
Summon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?
Virghon: 200, 300, 500 at most. Underground We are a band and still largely unknown.
Summon: How is the crowd response when you play?
Virghon: We did a few shows, but the audience response is always comparing us with another band. And ask to play covers of this particular band. This means that we need to promote more our songs.
Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?
Virghon: I honestly do not know the particulars of the scene U.S. Black Metal / Death Metal scene. I think in terms of Death Metal eighties was the greatest scene in the world, unwittingly responsible for the appearance of so many other branches. In terms of Black Metal just know, would like to know more.
Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?
Virghon: Critically needed, we need to create associations and internacionacionais generated by own bands, independent of black / death metal underground involving several countries from different continents.
Summon: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?
Virghon: Prefer the old bands of Black and Death Metal.
Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
Virghon: I’m already composing, you more than black metal Death this time and will have new metal influences folklore of other cultures, new cadences, rhythms, a new atmosphere. I want to begin recording after the second half, two thousand fifteen.
Summon: What does the future hold for the band??
Virghon: I think we could turn this thing around and ask what the band has to offer in the near future? we launch our CD’s in all possible formats, do tours, records video, we have many ideas. By the way, I already have the next CD designed, compound.
