Faunus is the solo project of Admetos (Elegos), hailing from Heraklion, Greece. The band is inspired by nature’s greatness and the mysteries of the wilderness. From nature’s mysteries comes also the name Faunus, which was the name of the Roman horned god of the forests, the plains and the fields. The music style could be described as ambient post-black metal with heavy influences of shoe-gaze and doom metal. Fauns released their debut full length album “Where everything begins with an end” on November 2015.
