Summon: How the band started?
Adrian: Greetings to all metal fans, EPIDEMIC beginning in mid- 2003 with Jean Paul Sanafria and Christian Naranjo on guitars Edison Avellaneda on bass, Daniel Villareal on drums and Adrian Salazar in voice lineup. The band from the beginning was influenced by death metal bands.

 

 

Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Adrian: Whenever the death metal genre has been our favorite but there are bands like Slayer, Sepultura etc have also influenced us.

 

 

Summon: How has the response been from fans?
Adrian: In these years we have had mixed reviews but since the band is back together with the new line at the beginning of 2013 the response from people has been very positive.

 

 

Summon: Where did the band name come wine?
Adrian: It had been thought some names but ended choosing epidemic since its meaning is expected to spread to all fans with our music.

 

 

Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Adrian: Currently the band consists of Adrian Salazar voice, Daniel Villarreal battery (original members of the band) Juan Carlos Cahuasqui guitar, guitar and Roberto Amores Daniel Murillo on bass.

 

 

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics ?
Adrian: The music is written by the members (guitarist and drummer) in most cases and the lyrics are Adrian Salazar.

 

 

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas ?
Adrian: The concept of the lyrics are violent and bizarre in all the songs, representing the life, death, fear and the dark and malevolent human feelings, as well as on natural themes of good and evil, all that represents Epidemic that man fears.

 

 

Summon: What is your view in Satanism and the occult?
Adrian: Everyone is free to choose whatever you like, personally I think the Diablo depends on the culture which each nation, personally I think that fanaticism is of a kind that it is the worst hell that humanity has especially religious. But personally I think that man is God and the Devil at the same time.

 

 

Summon: How many albums / CD ‘ s have you released?
Adrian: The Exterminating Humanity home demo and Decadent 2003 launched a CD in 2005 whose name Mutilator Corporation, and launched demo tape for the return of the band Possessed Corpse 2013. We expect to complete the themes for this summer enter studio to record the second album.

 

 

Summon: Tell me about some of the songs on the latest CD?
Adrian: We called last single topic Repulsive Existence was recorded since 2010 but we promote in this 2013 because the band was no activity and changing members.

 

 

Summon: Do you have any side projects?
Adrian: No.

 

 

Summon: Who are your musical influences?
Adrian: Death, Suffocation, Cannibal Corpse, Morbid Angel, Deicide, Immolation, Broken Hope, Dying Fetus, Malevolent Creation and the whole line of classic death metal.

 

 

Summon: What current bands?
Adrian: Hate Eternal and Nile personally, there are very good brutal death metal bands and slam but unfortunately have not been able to schedule a time, I hope there is a metal resurgence worldwide that makes music nancy.

 

 

Summon: What is the band like when you play live ?
Adrian: The band has a very strong influence of Suffocation in their sound and aesthetic.

 

 

Summon: Have you ever played in another country?
Adrian: We played in Lima Peru with Monstrosity.

 

 

Summon: How large of people show up at shows usually ?
Adrian: Concerts are generally not large in underground sites.

 

 

Summon: How is the public response when you play ?
Adrian: Usually we do well the band has a favorable acceptance.

 

 

Summon: What do you think of Black Metal / Death Metal scene U.S. ?
Adrian: United States is home to much of big bands particularly thrash and death metal, hopefully at some point be able to play over there.

 

 

Summon: What do you think of the scenes abroad?
Adrian: Many countries have very good bands the only problem is that the music industry in Latin America especially for the metal is very limited but well ahun in Latin America there are very good bands.

 

 

Summon: When you planning to write new material guys?
Adrian: The band is writing two new songs hopefully complete them to enter and capture our second studio album.

 

 

Summon: What does the future hold for the band?
