Summon: How did the band get started?
Alex: All this started as a one man band by my brother Dimitris. At this time I was busy recording my own punk project. He made an offer and I said yes immediately cause I wanna be part of this.
Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Alex: From my point of view is a sound of melodic death with no high speed drums and riffs and a huge dose of pain and suffering. All words and music by Dimitris by the way except 2 songs that Nick wrote in the All Ends In Tears album.
Summon: How has the fan response been?
Alex: The fan response I can say that it has been quite good. Not much here in Greece. .But I can see that we are getting more fans in Russia .That’s nice to know.
Summon: Where did the band name come from?
Alex: The name came from my brothers brain. He just named the band the time it was a one man band..He was the emperor of himself..
Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Alex: Dimitris Polizos plays guitar, he is the main songwriter and does the brutal voices you here. Nick Georgiou joined the band after to be Dimitris partner …He plays guitar.. And finally me the drummer and clean singer.
Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Alex: Dimitris writes all lyrics and music .Nick is also a big part of the songwriting too.
Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Alex: As I said the main subject of the lyrics is life’s pain and suffering but we making it a lot bigger than it looks like…
Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
Alex: For me every one has a choice to believe everywhere he wants. But (I’m speaking for myself always) Satanism is a load of bullshit. How can you believe in the fallen angel when Gods existence is at stake..?? Every human being has the need to believe in something cause we always need something to grab on when the shit hits the fan… Same goes for Occult fans..Such a load of crap.
Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Alex: We have one EP called If it bleeds You Can Kill It and two albums called Question Your Existence and All Ends In Tears.
Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Alex: The new CD has 14 songs and it starts with a powerful tune called I Don’t Care. That’s the one and only fast song on the album…I cant say much you should give it a listen and tell us your opinion. (haha)
Summon: Do you have any side projects?
Alex: Side projects no actually … I’m interested writing some punk tunes cause this period .If you can call this side project..But my bro (Dimitris) made a collaboration with a dude from the states called Floating Nowhere .He wrote some tune and gave it to him to fill in the vocals..It was great by the way…Go to soundcloud and check it out.
Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Alex: Mine is punk rock … you will ask yourself what the fuck punk got to do with death metal??it don’t ..haha..I like very much In Flames though …
Summon: Which current bands?
Alex: In Flames and the old Pyogenesis …
Summon: What is the band like when you play live?
Alex: No live yet…just studio band…
Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?
Alex: I think one band that is very powerful this time is Agalloch amazing band and they prove their inspirations is never ending.
Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?
Alex: Sorry I don t know much about it.
Summon: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?
Alex: Woods Of Desolation from Australia and their new album I can say is one of the best album of the year in black metal in death metal In Flames, Dark Tranquility.
Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
Alex: Maybe in the end of this year we will make a conversation about new stuff my brother has some ideas for new songs and we will see how things will turn.
Summon: What does the future hold for the band??
Alex: Our goal is to getting better in every album as a band to create cool songs we are working on this the future will show.
