Summon: Where did you get the name from?
Sasrof: It just came to me!
Summon: How many demo’s/Cd’s do you have?
Sasrof: IMPERIAL has released 3 demos and one album under the name Diabolicum.
Summon: Tell me about some of your songs.
Sasrof: I take a few of my fave Diabolicum/Imperial tracks: 1. Pesten Kommer (“De Fördömdas Legion” demo (will also be featured on “the Darkblood rising”) This song deals with the return of the great plagues, the return of the demon of pestilence death,the almighty Pazuzu. 2. Jesus Fall (Armageddon) (“The Imperial Darkness” demo) This song deals with the last minute when a warrior of chaos defies Jehovah and his filthy horde. And joins the infernal union of black souls, just awaiting and longing for the end of Jehovah and this dimension. 3. The Reaper of The Orb (“The Grandeur of Hell” album) This dark opus tells the story of when this dimension has been devastated by the Imperial darkness. 4. Perished/The manifestation of Suicide (“The Grandeur of Hell” Album) This song deals with the thoughts of death that runs through the mind of a person on is/her way to commit suicide…
Summon: Who writes the majority of the music and lyrics?
Sasrof: I am the one handling those duties…
Summon: Where do you get your lyric ideas from?
Sasrof: The lyrics are in many ways a reflections of my mind they are the content of what I adore most: The dark Chaos…
Summon: Who are your musical influences?
Sasrof: Several Metal and industrial acts.
Summon: What is the band like live?
Sasrof: We have never played live! We have some ideas for future gigs but I will not reveal any of them yet!
Summon: Are you guys into the occult? If so tell me about it.
Sasrof: Yes, especially Me, Gorgorium and Blackblood. We have performed several rituals and work with different kinds of black magic.
Summon: Would you guys do any graveyard desecrating or church burning?
Sasrof: Our previous vocalist Thyrfing did some time for arson back in 94-95 and we have all some “sins” buried in the past…
Summon: Would you perform a satanic ritual?
Sasrof: I have done it many times and will do it many times more!
Summon: What is your opinion on the U.S. Black Metal scene? You have any fave U.S.
Black Metal bands?
Sasrof: I haven´t heard that much from the states just ABSU and KRIEG and both of them are good bands..
Summon: What is the scene like in Sweden?
Sasrof: It is ok! We have a few good bands Immemoreal, Marduk, Sargoth etc etc.
Summon: Do you guys plan to record anytime soon? If so tell me about it.
Sasrof: We have planned to record our second album “The Darkblood Rising (The Hate crowned retaliation) in June the year of the black flames 2000…
