C.E.: For a new band like us it’s going very well I think.
Summon: Where did the band name come from?
C.E.: Cosmic Ekpyrosis is the supposed periodic destruction of the universe by fire, so if you take a look around you see what happens I’m sure you’ll understand from where the band name came from.
Summon: Introduce the band members
C.E.:Sorry, but we do not like to reveal our names, our belief is that we are just musicians…
Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
C.E.: We all work together on music and lyrics
Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
C.E.: Hmm… this is diffucult, our primary source of inspiration is the fact that our world is ruled by people who are always targeting to eliminate the nature of humanity
Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
C.E.: This question is extremely common when it comes to black metal, so, we do not have any relation to Satanism or Occultism, we do not like to be preachers of any religion.

C.E.: We have released one demo under the title “Eliminate The Traces Of Reality and we have an upcoming release on September, a split CD with Ars Macabra(Italy) by Grom Records.

C.E.: No we don’t.
Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?

Summon: What is the band like when you play live?
C.E.: We haven’t played any live show yet.
Summon: Do you have any type of stage props or special clothing?
C.E.: No, of course no, clothes are just clothes…We cannot understand why some metal fans have a typical barcode…
Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal scene?
C.E.: It is one of the most influentialll black metal scenes…bands such as Leviathan, Xastur, Nachtmystium and Absu are fucking great
Summon: What do you think of the Norwegian and Swedish scenes?
C.E.: Okay, we all know that black metal was s borned there, buokay.k… I do not believe that nowadaysNorwegian or Swedish black metal bands are equal to bands like Mayhem or Burzum however the myth of this scene is still alive so nowadays bands have the appropriate background to become famous…
Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?
C.E.: I hope that this year will be the right time to release our debut album
Summon: What does the future hold for the band?
C.E.: Our first priority are some live shows after the split release and after that concentrating on writing new material for a full length album
