Summon: How did the band get started?
Floyd: A group of guys looking to play music that not very many people were making.

Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Floyd: Thrash metal with stoner/doom metal influences and actual melodies.

Summon: How has the band response been?
Floyd: From those who actually have heard us, very good.

Summon: Where did the band name come from?
Floyd: It was in a book I was reading and I thought it covered everything we were doing. It sounds heavy, has a no retreat no surrender feel to it and works with all the mythology stuff we write about.

Summon: Introduce the band members and tell me what each members does?
Floyd: Charles – Guitar, Stevie – Vocals, Brandon – Drums, Floyd – Bass & Backing Vocals.

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Floyd: Charles writes the music mostly, I write complimentary parts and arrange the parts Charles writes. Stevie takes the ideas and writes a story to it and Brandon finishes the mood with the drums.

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Floyd: Mostly mythology.

Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Floyd: LP and CD coming soon.

Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?
Floyd: Release the Kraken is the single from the album, it’s short and fast.
