Summon: How did the one man band get started?
Ghost Wolf: The project has started after some paranormal events, one sad period during my schooling and in my personal life. I can not explain a lot of these things, like my mysterious strange attitude with the social peoples etc, so I decide to create this project to elaborate everything.
Summon: What kind of music do you play?
Ghost Wolf: I play particular music like “Bizarre / Psychotic / Mysterious / Metal”. I categorize this musical genre as a personal style.
Summon: How has the fan response been?
Ghost Wolf: It is still a young project, but the few peoples who have discovered this one are surprised, most particularly by some webzine. For them it’s totally a good start to become a New Metal Style around the world. They consider it as a “Creative Metal”. I’m just proud of that.
Summon: Where did the project name come from?
Ghost Wolf: In fact, I always wanted a unique project name. There’s a contrast between the “Bizarre” and “supernatural” side that give “BizarrOtural”. The O is a symbol / Logo from the universe, especially for the future scenes. For the moment I can not let more info’s.
Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.
Ghost Wolf: I (Ghost Wolf) am the master of this young project.
Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?
Ghost Wolf: I’m making all things (Instrumental, mixing, mastering, composition, lyrics and sings for the CD version..) to having the most perfect music possible. In this case I’m sure to get the perfect set-lives and track-lists for albums and shows.
Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?
Ghost Wolf: The lyrics subjects are written by myself and they are very intimate, supernatural, weird and violent (for some of them). Sometimes I’ve thirsty and hungry to take my revenge on some persons who hurt my loved ones, my family, me and others bad persons who copy the creative ideas of great artists, but sometimes my thoughts say that it’s not good. This is why I prefer to leave my heart expressing that rage about some stories on my ideologies. Some peoples will say that this project is strange, but for me it’s Psychotically normal. *laugh*
Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?
Ghost Wolf: I’m not satanic etc. I don’t have religion where something like that. If I must to believe in something, it will be the paradise with a God who punish the bad persons making bullshits on earth and, like a lot of peoples, to see again some loved ones who are missing me.. This is my religion, my belief.
Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?
Ghost Wolf: Just one album named “Looking In A Mask” is digitally released via BandCamp. This is for the beginning. Here I’m currently working on the CD Version with a Studio from Montreal. There are the singing, Lyrics, new instruments / atmospheres inside this new version.
Summon: Do you have any side projects?
Ghost Wolf: Of course. Beside of BizarrOtural I write one intimist Book and I have in plan to write some others story as the BizarrOtural’s concept. After I work the mixing mastering at Ghost Wolf Studio, I’m making the paint and draw as a sideline, I’m preparing for two future new creative musical projects.. Well contrary to a lot of French Artists, I don’t copy something else because I have many ideas and imagination.
Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?
Ghost Wolf: I’m not generally inspired by metal music because I try to permanently create something new from my imagination and I try to do it very well.
Summon: Which current bands?
Ghost Wolf: BizarrOtural for the moment. Before to become a band, I mean.
Summon: Have you ever played in another country?
Ghost Wolf: Not yet but as soon that I find the serious and motivated musicians for.
Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?
Ghost Wolf: Between Black & Death, I have one heart for the Black Metal. For me it’s the best metal audience. By the past I’ve talked with a lot of those persons and I admit that they’re very respectful. They stay true to their music. They don’t alternate the musical styles for an innovation between popularity and money. They have a tradition that they don’t must destroy. However I never liked death metal because it degrades to all the commercial crap from Deathcore and co’. At least that’s the music style that I’ll never listening. I tried once and … Next. For me: Thrash / Heavy / Black Metal (Also some MeloDeath bands) : All.
Summon: When do you plan on writing any new material?
Ghost Wolf: Not before 2017 but I’ve started to write some songs for a future second album. In some times I would see the final results.
Summon: What does the future hold for the one man band??
Ghost Wolf: First of all, I hope to release “Looking In A Mask” CD Version for 2017. After finding musicians, we’ll going to prepare the scenes and preparing an album together.
