Summon: How did the band get started?

Andrew: The band initially started as a side project. It kind of just took off from there as my main focus.

Summon: What kind of music do you play?

Andrew: Its tough to say, I’ve heard different people give it different labels. Maybe post black metal? Who knows.

Summon: How has the fan response been?

Andrew: I think it’s been good for the people who are into the style of music. I also think for the people looking for your normal black metal its going to disappoint.

Summon: Where did the band name come from?

Andrew: By writing down hundreds of names and just said screw it this one will work. I suppose there is a way more in depth response. But I’m not feeling it right now, ha!

Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

Andrew: Well, I’m Farace and I do the guitar and vocals in the band. Pat takes care of the awesome drumming.

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

Andrew: I guess I write the music and lyrics but I really think along with Pats creative and kind of technical drumming adds a lot to our sound.

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?

Andrew: The lyrics are all very personal and just come from personal experiences or feelings at the time the song is written.

Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?

Andrew: Couldn’t care less about it.

Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

Andrew: Just one EP and hoping to do more soon!

Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Andrew: Well, they all kind of go together. Lyrically and musically in a linear fashion. With that being said I tried to still have each song have its own identity.

Summon: Do you have any side projects?

Andrew: I think both me and Pat are always jamming around and messing around with side projects. I think I have a new side project about every 6 months at this point. None of them are serious and are just something to do really.

Summon: Who are some of your musical influences?

Andrew: Altar of plagues, Woe, Nachtmystium would be a good start. Any band that kind of dives deeper then just being evil. And breaks out of the sound and mold of your typical black metal while still have a nice backdrop of it.

Summon: Which current bands?

Andrew: I guess all the above listed bands are current and I’m really always spinning them.

Summon: What is the band like when you play live?

Andrew: We’ve actually never played live, so I suppose I’ll skip the next few questions.

Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?

Andrew: Its awesome. I think its hilarious that people don’t like black metal from America.

Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?

Andrew: Just as awesome. I don’t think your location has anything to do with what you have inside of you artistically.

Summon: What are some of new favorite black metal/death metal bands?

Andrew: I haven’t found any new favorites recently. I should check out some more newer music.

Summon: When do you guys plan on writing any new material?

Andrew: Well we have a couple songs written at the moment. Its a constant but terribly slow process, I guess you could say were in no rush. Once we write a couple more we’ll likely do another EP.

Summon: What does the future hold for the band??

Andrew: Hopefully just more people hearing our music and knowing our name. We hope to accomplish that more so with the next release!
