Summon: How did the band get started?

G.C.Longinus: First of all, I would like to thank you for the opportunity, for the interview. I created the name of the band and the first song in 2004, initially was to be a one man band”, but as time went by I was maturing the idea that it could be a band to play live, then in 2007 set it is the first line-up was G.C.Longinus guitars / vocals, Cerberus Bass, Sammhael – drums, that in September 2007, two months after Sammhael left the band for personal reasons, and I called Necromanscius Apocalypticus, since it is a fixed member in the band, we started rehearsing for recording our Ep in Alliance with the Fallen Angels“, this material was recorded in January 2008 at the Z7 Studios in Vila Madalena, São Paulo SP, Brazil.

 

 

Summon: What kind of music do you play?

G.C.Longinus: I believe we do extreme metal as it was made ​​in the 80s, heavy, fast, rotten, dirty, underground, without following trends, without fads, without following new methods of recording and production, just do the style of music I like to listen and play.

 

 

Summon: How has the fan response been?

G.C.Longinus: They have been very good, we have received letters and emails from people around the world, who love, who understand the kind of music we do, we trade with thousands of bands, distributors, labels from around the world in those years.

 

 

Summon: Where did the band name come from?

G.C.Longinus: The name of the band is in Tupi-Guarani, one of the languages ​​of the indigenous peoples of Brazil, the meaning of the name is Future Demonin that language, I chose the name in that language, because I think it is getting almost impossible to invent a name for a band in English, and that name is not already being used by someone.

 

 

Summon: Introduce the band members and what they do in the band.

G.C.Longinus: Currently the band is with only 2 members, G.C.Longinus guitars / vocals and Necromanscius Apocalypticus – drums / vocals.

Summon: Who writes the music? Lyrics?

G.C.Longinus: All songs and lyrics of the band have been written by me.

 

 

Summon: And where do the lyric ideas come from?

G.C.Longinus: Ideas can come from a variety of issues in our Ep, I used themes such as fallen angels, anti-Christianity, Mythology, Death, Destruction, among other.

 

 

Summon: What is your view in Satanism and Occultism?

G.C.Longinus: I see Satanism and occultism as intellectual and philosophical visions, liberating the rest of society. Represents the search for wisdom, for individual freedom, hedonism, and means human nature in its purest essence.

 

 

Summon: How many albums/CD’s have you released?

G.C.Longinus: We released one Ep In Alliance with the Fallen Angelsin 2008, spent time inactive, and we’re writing new material for 2014.

 

 

Summon: Tell me about some the songs on the latest CD?

Summon: What is the band like when you play live?

G.C.Longinus: Playing live is the best musical experience of all, there I can release all the energy of the music that I wanted to get in the studio and still can not.

Summon: Have you guys ever played in another country?

G.C.Longinus: Only played in Brazil yet, interested in taking the band to play in other countries, please contact us.

 

 

Summon: How big of crowd shows up at shows usually?

G.C.Longinus: The shows are still quite small, with fewer than 100 people on average do not care about this issue to be honest.

 

 

Summon: How is the crowd response when you play?

G.C.Longinus: The reaction is very good, we really true friendships in the scene here in our region.

 

 

Summon: What do you think of the US Black Metal/Death Metal scene?

Summon: What do you think of the Overseas scenes?

G.C.Longinus: I think the world has had many bands of various styles of metal and punk very good in recent years, many bands make a more retro sound, which I think is great, I don’t like modern metal, I think the underground scene live your best musical moment since the late 80s.

Summon: What does the future hold for the band??

G.C.Longinus: We are focused on producing new materials, getting labels that are willing to throw our stuff in other countries, doing more and more shows, maybe start a tour here in Brazil, and then in other countries.
