Sleepwalking toward Armageddon (Live E.P) Recorded on July 19th 2014 @ FETE in Providence, RI (c) 2014

Genre: Metal

Biography:
“A fierce torrent of blasting beats, monster riffs and paralysing vocals!”

They (intro) 00:18
Take heed of the apocalyptic warning!

Devolution (live) 02:16
This 2 minute 16 second slice of malice is overwhelming with deep, scathing vocal content that rings out to a dis-organised array of squalid rhythms so much so even the blurriness is chaotic!

Bleed The Myth (live) 02:42
If you could say that music is disjointed but can still sound good it must be this track! Totally screwed up but raw and frenzied. The fact it is so disheveled makes it a more enjoyable track! There is no escaping the fact that Adrenochrome are full on, in your face and extreme. The proof is right here.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
“It is raw metal, like it took a deviant turning from the norm and found anarchy all by itself! They describe themselves as “Sonic Disorientation” which is a very truthful way of describing the sounds they mangle during their anarchic reign of terror!”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Natural Restoration (live) 03:06
The crazed and maniacal torrents breathe their diabolical breath amid a squalling, violent and hellish vocal that even Satan would be proud of! A totally cruel and shocking guise of pure venom!

Consumed/Destroyed (live) 03:08
The longest track on this live E.P and it broods more evil personified. It rages with contempt with incoherent vocals although it matters little as the frenzy takes over! Its heavy structures bulge under the weight of such a composition and will stir the emotions with vehemence!

Crimes against Conformity 01:59
Quite a different track than previous although still infectiously raw. The siren wails urgently to a marching beat – is this the end? The end of mankind as we know it?

I have a feeling Adrenochrome will be back even bigger and better than before!

Summary:
This E.P captures the rapturous Adrenochrome in live play. I have to say they are a sound for sore ears and in that moment will most likely burn your ears off completely, due to its caustic burn!

The hellishly raw compositions are well O.T.T (Over the Top) and can be enjoyed quite easily for the sheer sulphurous scorn that is emitted from them, as within their music lies a barbaric sense of emotions that pour out in an unscrupulous manner!

It is raw metal, like it took a deviant turning from the norm and found anarchy all by itself! They describe themselves as “Sonic Disorientation” which is a very truthful way of describing the sounds they mangle during their anarchic reign of terror!
Incubated in 2011 as they put it, but only active from August last year Adrenochrome are warriors of their cause and most definitely have already made their mark with the fantastic release of “New World Slaughter”

Adrenochromeare a true representation of everything uncleansed, ungodly, unworldly and vile – must be why listening gives one a sense of freedom and freedom from blame and guilt, as they can wrap themselves in this typhoon of madness and just let go! Although I do prefer the “New World Slaughter” as it is a lot more condensed, although this E.P is exciting it sort of boils over so some of the potency is lost. However Adrenochrome are the ones to watch out for if you like your metal morbidly raw and from the gut extreme!

Genre: Death Metal/Death Core

Biography:
“Adrenochrome, is a Death Metal/Death Core band hailing from Blackstone Valley, Rhode Island and formed recently in August of this year. Adrenochrome generates enormous amounts of sound energy, much like an explosion. The power of supersonic riffs and solid grooves often leaves a path of destruction in its aftermath”

Adrenochrome (catecholamine o-quinone), chemical formula C9H9NO3, is a compound produced by the oxidation of adrenaline (epinephrine). – So now you know what to expect from this quartet.

New World Slaughter
This track hits straight between the eyes and is a toxic brawl of venom, demanding attention from the moment it starts its vicious onslaught. The vocals are particularly engaging as they are brutal and outstanding, whilst the music far from hides behind them, but protrudes with riveting excitement.

No Sense of Shame (Sample)

Consumed - Destroyed
As the title would suggest it is pretty gnarly and exceeds its limits in rhythmic punching and hearty ravenous drumming.  It more than grazes the aural, more like batters it into submission. The devastation continues and keeps its grip on the listener with avid and eager intentions.

I'm the Bad Guy? (Sample)

Bleed the Myth
Superb snorting opens this evil track of spite. Soaked in a rabid anger the cataclysmic rhythms pour openly like a festering bloody wound. Vocally engaging to reveal low harsh growls and high pitched screams that scathe unmercifully to a damming conclusion.

You Have to Have Evil (Sample)

To Sum up:
Yes evil is all around us but it is here it looms the most, although the sample tracks are there just to ease you into each track, I feel the band could have added a few more tracks to really whet the appetite for full on throttling destruction, however they have only been together four measly months but in that time they have done incredibly well getting this album together – so kudos to them for that.

Awash with favourable impact and unquestionable potencyAdrenochrome sure do live up to their name, no heated debate about this. They are intent on destruction and it's a sure fire tirade of brutality, of that there is no doubt what so ever and thanks to the Internet, all you brutal metal heads can enjoy it in all its glory, in your own home, unless you are holidaying in Rhode Island and can get to see them live, which wouldn’t be a bad thing at all.

But in the meantime why not scour the turbulent depths for yourself by checking out the above link and listen for yourselves. Be warned it is mighty explosive and no doubt the aftermath once played will have far reaching consequences that will be felt worldwide.
