Discography:

“RAISE HELL” 4 Track DEMO CD – EP, October, 2013

“Come Heresy…”4 Track DEMO TAPE EP, May, 2015

Genre: Old School Death Thrash Metal

Servants – Nothing like a bit of Old School crossover at all! The thunderous layers of snarling riffs are plentiful and surge mightily through the speakers. The gruff low toned growled vocal gives edge and stability to the track as it fires on all cylinders. In mesmeric form it twists and turns into one organic track!

~~~~~~~~
Erection of the Cross – The flamboyant riffs are ripe and ready to intoxicate and believe me they do! As this track breaks out from its restraints it is clear to see it shares its energetic prowess with the first track although this one prefers to go a rampage and leave you somewhat bemused at its hardiness.
Ozymandias – This track simply wriggles from the speakers in chugging brutal form! In a cascade of pure inventiveness its perfection oozes from every sound contained within in it. Dynamic and simply bounces with groove it is a winning track to behold.
“The German based metaller’s have produced a fiery and intense peek into the life of brutalism done their way. Definitely one for the collection!”
Further descending the unholy path to deterioration – No strolls or ambles here as the kick beats blast to within an inch of their lives, it strives for attention already possessing a keen appetite for destruction as it ladles mega tons of riffage through a barrage of beats. The vocals are again low toned and bristle with magnetic rebellion.
Into grinding storms of flesh – This track has a sharper tone of savagery and striking in delivery. Once you get your breath back – this may take some time! From start to its end it unravels a fascinating proposal of sounds that blend together in unholy fashion.
Summary: Superb EP from Damage Source. It is an emotive force that gathers all its elements together in a big metal pot and delivers on listening. Its tendrils reach out and throttle you at every corner, persuading and flirting violently with eager smacks of bass and definitely an EP worth listening to and buying.
The German based metaller’s have produced a fiery and intense peek into the life of brutalism done their way. Definitely one for the collection!
Listen to metal, eat metal, be metal and listen to this because it is metal!!!
Biography:
“German death thrash metaller’s DAMAGE SOURCE were founded in 2007 and hail from the beautiful region of Köln.  Their music stands out for being ‘cutting to the bone!’ and being tighter than a circus tightrope! It has been a good two years since the band released ‘Raise Hell’ in May 2013, but obviously gearing themselves up and sculpting their music accordingly to raise the bar even higher than before!”
Immediately ‘Stream of Blood’ races venomously into a vicious onslaught of drama, engaging the mind in what feels like a hail of bullets of the riffing kind, and backed up with caustic vocal dexterity, which leaves one in no doubt that this is extremely exciting stuff to put on the CD player!
The sulphurous burn of ‘Down in the Depths’ with its cruel rhythmic beats are harsh and stinging in this brutal fracas. The terse vocal taunts and manipulates the ears into submitting to a more primal intensity as it gathers its momentum.
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
“True to their roots Damage Source are feisty and complex! The rhythms flow fast and savage with glorious kick beats that manipulate the body into moving in time with its raucous flow of energy!”
—————————————————————————————————————————————————————————
‘Punishment in Lies’ is a rather sneaky track that creeps up and throttle’s you when you are least expecting it! It has commanding presence that builds quickly and massages the aural with heavy and sinister dynamism and rather plays out like a horror movie making you jump at its plot line!
‘Enlightenment’ provocatively striking with a heavy hand of savage riffs and scornful vocal gruffness! It almost does somersaults and captivates with its creative elements that thunder impressively and leaves in its wake a tempestuous and destructive trail.
Summary:
The only thing I can find to complain about is the demo only having four tracks to engage in. The content of this cassette ishowever nothing less than a ‘work of art’ that immediately grabs the attention and runs with it to newer levels.
True to their roots Damage Source are feisty and complex! The rhythms flow fast and savage with glorious kick beats that manipulate the body into moving in time with its raucous flow of energy.
It incites its own malignant storm and allows the listener to rebel in their own kind of way, turn the volume up, head-bang if your neck will allow, even scream along to the bands emotional vocal turbulence, but whatever you do – make a lot of damage and be the source of it!
